The Scientific Council cooperating with the Ombudsman for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises

is an advisory and consultative body to the Ombudsman for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. The main tasks of the Scientific Council include consulting on draft bills and legislative proposals and supporting the Ombudsman with knowledge and experience in conducting dialogue and consultations with the scientific community. The Council consists of scientists from the most important universities and economic departments in Poland.

Business and Science cooperation

In the dynamic times of today’s world, it is necessary to use the achievements of Polish science in the process of the economic development of the country. Close cooperation of the world of science and business may lead to the implementation of new solutions that will contribute to the development of many sectors of the economy. Therefore, it is extremely important to overcome barriers, introduce appropriate communication and be open to each other’s needs.

As the Ombudsman for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, I have appointed a Working Group for the Council of Entrepreneurs to maintain cooperation between science and business. Together with representatives of science and business, we have diagnosed the most important issues in the field of mutual relations of the two areas. Hence, we have created an information platform for entrepreneurs which is to constitute a knowledge base on the sources of funding research activities and to encourage undertaking initiatives that would involve the scientific community.
