The Consultative Board cooperating with the Ombudsman for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises

is an advisory and consultative body to the Ombudsman. It ensures permanent and direct contact between the Ombudsman and the business community.

The Consultative Board consists of entrepreneurs gathered in voivodship Consultative Committees

Main tasks of the the Consultative Board:

  • supporting the Ombudsman with knowledge and experience in conducting dialogue and consultation with the business community
  • exchange of knowledge and information on the economic environment and activities of enterprises, particularly from a local perspective
  • supporting the Ombudsman in issuing opinions on draft normative acts concerning the interests of entrepreneurs
  • developing and adopting positions in matters related to the interests of entrepreneurs and the economic policy of the state
  • initiating cooperation between the Ombudsman, business circles, public authorities, non-governmental organisations, universities,
    legal self-governments, foreign and international institutions and other entities acting for entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship
  • supporting the Ombudsman in educational and information activities in the scope of commencing, performing or terminating economic activities
  • initiating cooperation and developing relations between entrepreneurs to develop entrepreneurship
  • initiating and promoting activities the purpose of which is to shape pro-entrepreneurial attitudes in the society

Members of the Consultative Board may participate in the activities of the Working Groups operating within the Council of Entrepreneurs
